Bumps in the road.....

A bit disappointed!
We had appointments scheduled, a hotel booked and my husband took off work, for us to fly out to LA for my clinic and psych appointments for Monday, June 3 and things have come to a stop!
The agency owner called me to address some of her concerns with the Ips (intended parents) apparently the Im (intended mother) has been fighting them with some things all along the way and they dont feel comfortable moving forward with them and with me being their surrogate. She said she wants this to be a happy enjoyable experience for me, and she didnt feel it would be that way with those Ips!
So now, im back to the drawing board and back into the profile pot!
Fingers crossed and prayers that i get matched up again and things can start moving along!!
Even though im disappointed, i know this is a blessing in disguise and better Ips are out there for me!!

Cycles....

It seems so very strange to have to email and call people every time you get your monthly cycle.
Like who really wants to know that? Apparently everyone at the clinic and the surrogate agency! LOL

I called the Clinic where ill be doing med/psych evals and transfers and then seeing Dr.Wilcox last week and schedule my appointment based on my cycle, so we scheduled for June 9.
Wouldn't you now mother nature had other plans and decided to bring on the good old cycle about a week and a half early! So i have emails and calls in to discuss changing the appointment.
My husband and I could be flying out to California next Monday or Tuesday for our appointments. Things are moving quickly, and were very excited about it!

My Journey....

Hi everyone. My name is Jennie and this is my very first journey as a surrogate! I have wanted to be a surrogate for as long as i can remember. My husband and i felt like this was a great time in our lives to pursue this journey. Our family is complete, my husband has a great job and we are living in an area we love! I started this journey by researching the process. I found an agency that i love and the people that work there are great at answering questions and helping me along the way! I filled out plenty of paper work and sent it to the agency. The paper work is never ending and they need to know a lot of information about you, your past family history and your husband. Once i was give the ok by the IVF doctors my profile and pictures were put into a database for Intended Parents (Ips) to look at. I started all of this at the end of February and my profile got picked by Ips in April. We finally had our match cal last night(5/15/2014) and we both agreed to go forward. Now we wait for the IVF nurse to call me and set up my appointments. i will then fly to California for my medical and psych eval! The next step after that is contracts and an embryo transfer! I'm so very excited for this journey so i thought i would document it for anyone interested in following along!
